Our Process
Mahuta style
One word to describe our approach: adaptable. We combine multiple techniques using high grade aerial and ground footage brought to life with advanced post-processing. We can add titles, music, sound effects and more to your videos or create montages and other final products using the photographs we shot specifically for you and your project. Where needed we use high quality stock assets that carry full copyrights.
Plan
It all starts with good communication. Here we figure out your expectations, are there specific shots you have in mind or do we take the wheel? Do you need to work with certain formats, styles, etc?
Pre-Prod
For some projects, a deeper preparation is required. In this case we work with varied professional planning tools to create the concept, script, moodboards, location scouting, scheduling, shot list and scenes and anything else specific to your project.
Shoot
Most of the time we are shooting on location either at your facilities or at a location we decided together during planning. We bring everything needed from the cameras, sound equipment and lighting directly on location. For some product photography this can be done in our studio.
Edit
Here we carry out the hard work of de-rushing, selecting, editing from RAW/LOG and putting together the final products for you. We'll have already discussed the general ideas on style during the planning, but here we can share some progress pics and we can decide on potential changes.
Deliver
Once all is done we deliver the final products to you via digital transfer. For ground footage we can deliver photography up to 45MP and video up to 8k (max 4k recommended for most projects), 20MP stills and 5.1k video in the air.
Safety
Certification
We are certified under EASA for flying in the Open Category A1/A3 and A2. This allows us to fly in many places in the EU commercially but we cannot fly e.g. in close proximity to airports.
Procedures
We follow standardized procedures to ensure safety of participants, bystanders and equipment during all of our operations whether ground or air-based. For example we do a risk analysis of each flight zone and take appropriate measures.
Equipment
Keeping our drones, tripods, grips and other equipment in good condition is of course a high priority. Additionally we carry visibility vests and first aid kits in case of need.
Insurance
In case an event still happened, we are covered for liability for up to 2 600 000€ - Fully compliant with EC 785/2004
